"A person needs to achieve certain goals in one's life before you can call them successful" this quote helps me realize that in order to gain success you have to earn it and set it. I have set certain goals I would like to achieve in my lifetime. Some of these goals are personal while others are professional. My goals for this year are to get good grades, make some new friends, and to become more well rounded. I wish to get better grades this year than the grades I received last year. Unlike last year, I am now determined to study more, become more focussed, complete all homework's, and ask for help when needed. I hope these goals will improve my grades significantly. This year i also wish to involve myself in more extra curricular activities, in doing so this will benefit me in many ways and help my objective of becoming more well rounded. I will try my hardest to accomplish this short-term goal.

long term goals: |
I come from a family that has generations of non-graduates, My older sister was the first to graduate from high school and go to college in our family. So this is why it's very important for me to continue what my sister started. Ultimately, I have convinced myself to be a success. Words from my parents are the only thing that keeps me steadily walking along my road to success. I cannot and will not be stopped or even delayed from achieving the best. My positivity is my strongest quality and it cannot be destroyed by anyone. This is why after i graduate from high school with my HS diploma, i will go to a 4 year university with an exceptional psych program. I yearn to become a high rank psychiatrist, with a minor in communication. I hope to become a successful well known psychiatrist, and work strictly with teenagers. It has always been a dream of mine to help people. But i would like to specifically work with teenagers because i have seen many things in my teen years. My family and I have been through a lot, we've seen the good in life but mostly the terrors. I think due to my knowledge and experiences i would be able to relate to my future young patients.
